General procedure & visa

The International Foundation College at Paderborn University has no acceptance test, but your application will be proofed carefully. If you applied via our online form your application will normally get checked within one week. If everything is fine, we will contact you via e-mail. From that point on your place is reserved for 14 days. In that time you should make the payment of the course fee. If that is done you will receive a final confirmation of acceptance. You can apply for a student visa at the embassy / consulate with that conformation.

Closing dates for applications

Closing date for applications for summer semester: February 29th
Closing date for applications for winter semester: September 30th

APS / S Procedure (China, Vietnam only)

There are different conditions for applicants from China and Vietnam who are going to apply via the APS or S Procedure. Please ask  for further details:

Applicants from Mongolia:
There is no need for taking part at the APS / S procedure anymore! You can apply as a direct applicant. Please choose "direct application" in the field "Type of application" at our online application form. No entrance test is needed for taking part at our T-course or W-course!
